Your photography class room is here (Hobart that is)
When you are learning a new skill or want to improve a craft, one of the best ways to fast track progress is to join a workshop led by an expert who has already proven themself. If photography is your passion, or you have a new camera and intend to master it out in the field then you are in luck.
Well, there are lots of options to choose from, including oodles of online courses and materials, but we reckon that we have a cracker lined up for you. Take note. Small groups, maximum of 9, possibly 10 in each group, workshops come photography tours out of Hobart, led by a well respected and experienced local photographer Arwen Dyer.
Arwen will lead each one of our 11 workshops from April through to September 2020. We have two Derwent Valley Autumn Colour tours with one early April and the other late April and this one will focus on the turning of the Fagus (Australia’s only deciduous beech)
And then we have a night workshop in and around Hobart focusing on night photography, using light in interesting and magical ways and nightscapes. Our last workshop - Astrophotography at 42 South, is all about the night sky and how to enhance it, capture its beauty and moods, and composition with ground level beauty.
It is hard to capture what we hope and anticipate these will be like, but we are confident they will be great experiences and also great value for what is included for each one. Contact us with any questions you may have.
