Dark Delights and Starry Nights in the Derwent Valley
In May 2020 the last full “Supermoon” of the year will be with us, on the 7th actually. That is tomorrow! There are few better things in life to make you look up than a beautiful svelt shiny sexy bright and alluring full moon - literally and figuratively.
If there is one thing that unites us all, even from the dawn of time until this May 2020 supermoon, it is that we have all been in awe and wonder and smiled at a full moon.
This Saturday was going to be our first Hobart by Night, Dark Delight photography workshop and tour led by Arwen Dyer but damn you COVID-19, you have ruined another great event filled with innumerable magic moments. That must be at least 17 Trillion by now.
It looks like our Astrophotography @ 42 Degrees South scheduled for 23rd May will also be cancelled - well it is cancelled actually. I pray that come June we can venture out as humans and once again in small groups we can marvel at the wonders above and around us in the dark, and see with fresh eyes the beauty of our world.
Just a very short one now, a little homage to our Moon. But for the purpose of what The Derwent Experience can offer - this is one example; curated small group tours of Tasmania.
