The Derwent Experience has stepped up to become an NDIS Service Provider for self-managed and plan-managed clients.
We have the skill set and capacity to offer a custom and supportive service to cater for the needs of NDIS clients and their carers and offer some INNOVATIVE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION experiences right here in Southern Tasmania.
Our goal over coming weeks and months is to introduce ourselves to support coordinators in the Greater Hobart Area for dedicated inclusion experiences such as visiting Russell Falls or Chauncey Vale, beyond our our regular tours.
Our “INCLUSION” experiences specifically offer “CAPACITY BUILDING” and “COACHING WITH CARE” as core elements of each encounter and time together.
Examples of this include spending time at Curringa Farm in the Upper Derwent Valley for farm animal encounters as well as outdoor therapy with horses, dogs and doves for a fun and holistic approach to supporting wellness and growth.
Also engaging with Tasmania’s many creative people in the areas of textiles, art, ceramics, food and drink from local produce for an uplifting experience.
We look forward to connecting with even more people and sharing the wonder and beauty of what our region and locals offer. Please reach out if you have any questions. We are happy to come and talk to you and explain in greater detail how we can serve your clients or loved ones, and give them a wonderful experience.
